Delivering secure income by investing in a portfolio of shared ownership and independent retirement rental homes
ReSI seeks to deliver stable returns through investing in affordable shared ownership and retirement rentals across the UK, targeting a secure, long-term and inflation-linked annual dividend and an annual total return in excess of 8.0%.*
Following a thorough review of options for maximising shareholder value and having engaged with ReSI plc’s shareholders and advisers, the Board of ReSI plc announced its proposal to shareholders that ReSI plc adopts a managed wind-down and portfolio realisation strategy.
Under the proposed managed realisation and wind-down process, the Company will be managed with the intention of realising all the existing assets in its portfolio in an orderly manner and with a view to repaying borrowings and making timely returns of capital to shareholders. A circular to convene a general meeting has been published and sent to shareholders, the purpose of which is to propose a new investment objective and investment policy of the Company in order to implement this managed realisation and wind-down.
*These are targets only and not profit forecasts.
ReSI’s purpose is to generate secure income for shareholders by delivering affordable, high-quality, safe homes with great customer service and long-term stability of tenure for residents. ReSI plc aims to achieve this through meeting demand from housing developers (housing associations, local authorities and private developers) for long-term investment partners to accelerate the development of socially and economically beneficial affordable housing.
The key differentiators of ReSI’s investment approach are:
