Tony Dalwood speaks with Ken Wotton, Managing Director, Public Equity focusing on the drivers behind inflows into the funds and Ken’s private equity approach to investing in public markets.

Ken heads up our Public Equity team that manages c.£1bn of assets across three open-ended funds: the LF Gresham House UK Micro Cap Fund, LF Gresham House UK Smaller Companies Fund and LF Gresham House UK Multi Cap Income Fund, as well as Strategic Equity Capital plc and the AIM portfolio of the Baronsmead VCTs.

Tony and Ken discuss the drivers behind the inflows we have seen into these funds this year, at a time when many equity funds, and UK equity funds in particular, have seen net outflows. They also talked about Ken’s private equity approach to investing in public markets and the headroom for growth in this area of the business.
