The sustainable forests of Europe take just seven seconds to grow the volume of timber required for a three bedroom apartment, and 4 hours to grow a 300 metre super-tall skyscraper. An excellent video from the Centre for Natural Material Innovation at University of Cambridge, looking at the sustainable homes of the future.
