Gresham House bolsters Sustainable Infrastructure team with appointment of Simon Adcock as Head of Portfolio and Co-Fund Manager

Simon brings over 25 years of experience in corporate advisory, private equity and strategic business planning having worked across a breadth of sectors including infrastructure, healthcare, education, and TMT.

Simon joins Gresham House from Bowmark Capital where he was a Partner and Head of Portfolio and sat on the Investment Committee. Simon has led over a dozen successful private equity exits and is an experienced non-executive director and qualified accountant.

Prior to Bowmark, Simon spent three years at Lloyds Development Capital, where he was Senior Portfolio Director. Simon previously gained almost 20 years’ experience working as an advisor, initially at KPMG before moving to Deloitte where he was a Partner for five years. At Deloitte, Simon was Head of UK regional Corporate Advisory, a business he established to advise fast-growing mid-market privately owned and private equity-backed companies across the UK regions.

Simon joins at a time of robust growth for the Sustainable Infrastructure team, following other recent senior hires including Suzi Williams who joined as Advisory Board Lead in August 2022. Suzi is a highly experienced non-executive director and private equity advisor who previously spent a decade as Chief Marketing Officer at BT.

Gresham House’s Sustainable Infrastructure strategy invests in projects that offer profitable, innovative solutions to key environmental and societal challenges. Comprising two closed-ended funds and four locally focused co-invest funds, the strategy focuses on mid-market investments offering the strongest opportunities to make an impact from an environmental or social perspective.
